INSIDE PASSAGE SEA KAYAKING
5-DAY LODGE BASED SEA KAYAKING ADVENTURE VACATION

Pacific Northwest Expeditions exclusive Inside Passage Lodge based sea kayaking adventure was added to our trip offerings in 2006. This spectacular marine wilderness lodge (The Farrewell Harbour Marine Resort) is nestled in Blackfish Sound, in the southern Broughton Archipelago part of an area world renown as the best location in North America in which to view wild killer whales in their natural habitat.
This unique lodge-based sea kayaking vacation will appeal to those that would like to experience sea kayak touring British Columbia's Inside Passage while enjoying a comfortable private room and a hot shower at the end of an active day. Situated on the edge of the Broughton Archipelago Marine Park, this trip area provides days of exceptional sea kayaking, exploration and wildlife viewing.
Marine wildlife viewing opportunities abound as this area is blessed with resident Orca whale populations, summer foraging Humpback and Minke whales, Pacific White-sided dolphins, Dalls' porpoise, and sea lions. As we are scheduling these lodge based trips during the month of September, opportunities exist for viewing numerous marine waterfowl species migrating from northern summer nesting sites.
Enjoy 5-days of adventure combining sea kayak touring, whale watching, wildlife viewing, forest trail hiking, beach walks and First Nations cultural experiences.
The Inside Passage Lodge based sea kayaking trip is well suited for any singles, couples, group of friends or families, who wish to experience sea kayak touring the extraordinary waters of Blackfish Sound and the Broughton Archipelago Marine Park in style and comfort. We are extremely excited at what Farewell Harbour lodge will offer our guests!

While our trips are not considered to be strenuous or physically demanding, and we do not require a high level of fitness, good general physical condition is necessary.
A primary reason for the popularity of sea kayaking is the ease at which the boat can be propelled and the relatively quick learning curve.
