Right from our beginnings Pacific Northwest expeditions has committed to environmental stewardship.
As we strive to become a role model for sustainable sea kayak touring outfitters in the British Columbia tourism industry, we are constantly developing and implementing initiatives that will minimize environmental impacts, reduce waste, and use resources in a sustainable manner.
- Be responsible stewards of the environments and communities in which we live, work, and play.

REDUCING WASTE
Waste reduction is a key objective for us.
Reduce Consumption
- by careful use and regular maintenace of our equipment we can significantly increase it's life span.
- Trip food is all packed in reusable food safe containers.
Recycling
Composting
- all food waste from our trips is composted at our home office base.
