SEA KAYAKING ADVENTURE VACATIONS
Pacific Northwest Expeditions is a family operated company specializing in delivering adventure sea kayaking trips on the coast of Vancouver Island.
Gillian and Brian (the owners) began sea kayaking in the eighties back when it was still a relatively new activity on the west coast. We were both introduced to the sport by friends and we instantly fell in love with it. After a few years of paddling separately we wound up in the same wilderness first aid course, we’ve been paddling and guiding together as a team ever since.
We launched into the 'adventures of our lifetimes' when Pacific Northwest Expeditions was created in 1998 to combine our guiding experience, with a desire to have our activities make a positive contribution to our community. Today we are the culmination of many years of hard work and good times spent with incredible folks from around the world. We‘ve learned a lot over the years, but our original desire to share our passion for nature and our commitment to service has never wavered. Our priority is to make sure that each person, on every trip, is getting the most out of what Pacific Northwest Expeditions has to offer.
We're not the first company to juggle the demands of our business with our desire to continue guiding. We are fortunate to be among the few 'owners' who remain connected to our trips by working with the most experienced and knowledgeable guides anywhere. We take our responsibility for providing consistent high quality trips seriously, and dedicate ourselves to this goal year round.
